Port Manatee Railroad (PMR) operates 7 miles of track and interchanges with CSXT at Palmetto. Port Manatee is in Manatee County Florida, 30 miles south of Tampa on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Mexico. The Port is the closest deep-water seaport to the Panama Canal and serves bulk, Break Bulk, container, heavy lift, project and general cargo. Facilities include tracks for dedicated transloading, 1 million sq ft warehouse space and 2 mobile harbor cranes.
